Community Connection

Public Transportation

Community Connection offers demand responsive, "Curb to Curb Service" from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. This service is created for, marketed to and heavily utilized by the General Public. However, like everything we do at Community Connection, there is a flavor of elder care and consideration literally built right in to our vehicles (every vehicle features wheelchair and mobility device accessibility and dedicated seating in the front of the bus for elders and persons with disabilities).

A curb to curb service means that we pick you up right in front of your home - or in the parking lot of your apartment. We will drop you at the front door (or in the parking lot) of your destination. Our friendly driver will assist all wheelchair and mobility device passenger on and off the bus. If you require an escort to and from your destination, we will be happy to transport an assistant of your choice, free of charge.

To ride on our system, follow three simple steps.

1) Call our office 24 hours in advance to make an appointment (963-BUSS)

2) Be ready to ride up to ten minutes before your appointment.

3) Call us to come pick you up when you're done.

As a consideration for our elders and passengers with disabilities, we gladly accept your Title XIX Non Medical Transportation coupon. We also accept your ride request from the Oregon Medical Assistance Program.
